In the 2021 spring UTSU invited the university’s family to come up with a 1-3 minute exercise break to make movement a regular part of University of Tartu’s studying and research. Exercise breaks could consist of several exercises, but had to be suitable for a lecture, seminar, laboratory, but why not for a conference or home study time. We chose the best breaks and divided them into three categories in collaboration with the UT liikumislabor. The categories were following: stretches and calmer exercises; mind and body cooperation; dances, rhythms and challenges. Now are the exercise breaks chosen out and available for everyone. Now, let’s try out the exercises and make moving regular part of university’s daily life!
