Student Organisations can apply for funding in September

The next deadline for submitting applications to the Student Organisations Development Fund of the University of Tartu Student Union (UTSU) is September 21. Funds can be requested from the support fund to organise various events and trainings.

The aim of the UTSU Student Organisations Development Fund is to support projects of student organisations related to the University of Tartu that contribute to the fulfilment of the goals of the University of Tartu Development Plan and increase the cohesion of the university and students.

The development fund has supported various events over the years. For example, from last year, we can highlight the Spring Run organised by the University of Tartu Student Sport Representation, ÜKSA’s young leader development programme and the Biosciences Students' Association’s environmental week.

The fund's minimum grant amount is 500 euros, and all expenses for the planned project must be incurred by March 15, 2026. The fund has made applying for money as easy as possible for students: those interested must first familiarise themselves with the university's development plan, come up with an ambitious and good project concept, fill out the application form and send it to UTSU.
