Student council supports other student organizations in Tartu to make sure that a maximum number of students get practical experience and useful skills next to their academic studies.

Erasmus Student Network Tartu is providing a very memorable multicultural experience for all international students. ESN Tartu's goal is to make the lives of international students in Tartu more interesting and to make them feel more at home. There is no other organization that focuses their full attention on the international students studying here. ESN Tartu organizes a few events per week. The most famous ESN events include national evenings, movie nights, farewell parties, jam sessions, Sea Battle cruise from Tallinn to Stockholm, trips to all around Estonia and abroad, theatre nights, pool parties. ESN has an office in Raatuse 22 dorm and they send out weekly newsletter during the semester.
AIESEC is the only organization is Tartu that has all activities in English and that accepts international members as volunteers. It is a global youth organisation that develops young people through a series of programmes, like team member experiences, internal leadership programmes and engaging students and graduates in international volunteering and internship programmes for profit and non-profit organisations.
