The application period to become a student representative at a faculty or institute at the University of Tartu has been extended – submit your application by April 11 at the latest!
TAccording to Renar Kihho, Chairman of the University of Tartu Student Union (UTSU) Board, the decision to extend the deadline was made to give students more time to apply, as there are still vacant positions available. “Our goal is for all student councils in every institute and faculty to be filled with enthusiastic student representatives. At the moment, however, several institutes still have unfilled positions, and we would very much like to fill them so that every student has a representative they can turn to when needed,” Kihho explained.
You can apply for the position of a student representative on the University of Tartu Student Union (UTSU) website until April 11. To do this, you need to fill out an online form, where you must write down your contact details and answer a few questions that allow us to learn more about your motivation and goals. The answers to the questions will be made visible on UTSU’s website for all students, who can decide who to vote for based on the answers. Voting begins on April 21.
