Eneken Riin Salong to lead University of Tartu Student Union
On Thursday, 5 June, a new board for the University of Tartu Student Union (UTSU) was elected during a meeting of the student parliament.

In early July, a new team will take over from the current board of the University of Tartu Student Union (UTSU). Renar Kihho, who has been the chairman of the student union for two years, along with vice-chairs Teele Kanarbik and Anette-Mai Pirk-Birk, say that while their time in office was challenging, it was also educational and brought new knowledge, skills, contacts, and a clearer outlook for the future.

The handbook provides an overview of the work and duties of a student representative, the structure of the University of Tartu and the Student Union, the necessary legislation, certification, and elections.

Tartu Ülikooli üliõpilasesindus otsib sel kevadel uut juhatust, sest praeguse juhatuse kaheaastane ametiaeg lõppeb. Nüüd on selgunud kõik uued juhatuse liikmete kandidaadid, kelleks on üliõpilased ülikooli kolmest eri valdkonnast. Kandidaatide debatt toimub esmaspäeval, 2. juunil kell 18.15 üliõpilasesinduse Tiksula ruumides (Ülikooli 17). Uus juhatus valitakse ametisse neljapäeval, 5. juunil kell 18.15 algaval üliõpilaskonna volikogu istungil.
Ööraamatukogu ootab taas öiseid õppijaid
19. maist 6. juunini on ülikooli raamatukogus jälle võimalik kuni keskööni õppida. Lisaks hilisemale lahtiolekuajale toimuvad ööraamatukogu ajal ka erinevad tegevused.
Equal Treatment – Overview of the Discussion with the Rectorate at the Student Parliament Meeting on March 20
At the beginning of the spring semester, the Student Parliament discussed developments and challenges related to equal treatment at the University of Tartu. Following the discussion, we presented our views and expectations to the Rectorate and invited them to our March Student Parliament meeting to engage in a joint discussion on the topic. We were pleased that the Rectorate accepted our invitation, and a significant number of its members participated in the Student Parliament meeting held on March 20, where we were able to engage in an open and in-depth discussion together. Below is a summary of the key points.

Alates 2025 märtsist on Tartu Ülikooli instituutide, kolledžite ja valdkondade üliõpilaskogudel võimalik taotleda raha TÜ üliõpilaskogude projektifondist. Fondi eesmärk on toetada Tartu Ülikooli instituutide, kolledžite ja valdkondade üliõpilaskogude projekte, mis aitavad kaasa Tartu Ülikooli arengukava ja TÜÜE arengukava eesmärkide täitmisele ning toetavad TÜÜE üliõpilasesindajate aktiivset tegevust.
